Byron Bay Ballooning has a friendly local team of pilots, with over a decade of experience, and ground crew who are passionate about the region, its community and environment. 


Our philosophy is to enhance the romance of ballooning by providing the highest level of service, and to smoothly guide our passengers through a fun and engaging morning that is at times both adventurous and uplifting.


The Byron region offers some of the finest and mildest weather in all of Australia, giving the opportunity for great outdoor activities all year round. Hot Air Ballooning is one of this iconic beach-town's favourite adventure activities, with visitors and locals alike taking to the skies to be the first each morning to see the sunrise over the Australian mainland.


Flights are scheduled for sunrise each morning but it is important to be aware that hot air ballooning is a weather dependent activity.
